UDOO for students, UDOO in the schools
Hi UDOOers,
we are here to present you the first case of an “array” of good news regarding UDOO-entanglement with schools, Universities and Phd.
Maybe if you follow us on Twitter, Google+ or like us on Facebook you remember we told you about the Excellence Lab inaugurated in India by SECO, our producer, with MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology – on September 29th there was the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Lab. But what are we talking about?
It’s a concrete demonstration of the commitment of SECO to give a further boost to research and dissemination of knowledge regarding new technologies, with the support of its recently opened branch office in Bangalore (India). Several fields are involved: from source development platform to open source hardware. In order to assist the growth of tomorrow’s technicians and engineers, MSRIT’s students have the opportunity to train on some of SECO’s most innovative solutions donated to the institute by SECO itself: UDOO, Qseven modules and Single Board Computer with Tegra T30 processors and Freescale™ Qseven, together with touch displays, cameras and several accessories.
We think this is a good opportunity for students to get in touch with the cutting edge of embedded technology and platform development. Don’t we all talk always about a computing education for everyone?
We believe in this.
And you, what you think?
Give us your opinions, it’s precious.
P.S.: are you a teacher or a student and would you like to organize an event or an educational path involving UDOO? Contact us.
Cheers,
UDOO Team
